Individual project’s page
I am currently working on how we display the information for each project, and would value some feedback on how we label these.
There is a lot of detail for each of the projects – as you know. I’ve therefore tried to group information together so that we don’t have one super-long tab and a few shorter ones.
This is the proposed design – it has 4 tabs, but I think we need 5
And this is the suggestion. I’ve listed below each tab what kind of information it would cover:
The main one I’d like feedback on is the “Who we treat” tab – other suggestions I came up with were “Who can come”. I also reflected on “Service users” but think this won’t mean anything to the general public if they are searching, which is why I came back to something less formal and more meaningful.
Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

My only concern is that 1 of our units has a ‘not yet rated’ status for CQC, although this is obviously a temporary situation it will be relevant for any new service and most services as we go through the new ‘registration’ process. I presume there will info on this somewhere on the site?
Hi Tessa
I think we should be offering that as one of the options, so you could see a project has however many stars or is ‘not yet rated’.
There will also be a free text box where you can describe the project, so you could include some words here to give further detail if you think it’s necessary.
thanks
Fiona
I think it looks good and will provide access to a lot of information.
It could be worth having separate text boxes for testimonials from (a)service users and (b)referrers.
Hi Fiona
We could certainly do that. I’ll discuss it with the development team as an option.
Many thanks
Fiona
Hi there,
I think the wireframe diagram for this is excellent. For me it has everything it needs in the 5 tabs. In regards to the testimonials or comments tab, I think this can only work if you are able to identify who made the comments by groups: service users / carers/ referrers.
I also feel that ‘who we treat’ says it all and anything else will just be ‘gilding the lilly’ when the tab is already very clear.
I also reiterate my point about star ratings and who ‘issues’ these stars. If the CQC report link remains, surely that would be sufficient as stars are easy to follow but unless you’ve got some understanding of how they are awarded and what they mean they just become misleading as a rehab with 3 stars appears better than a rehab with just 1 star but is not necessarily better or worse on the important criterion to me – just to the inspectors. I hope my comments are clear and understandable.
Thanks,
Andy
Hi Andy
Thanks for this – it’s very helpful.
In the comments area, service providers will be able to show who the comments come from, to give some clarity to it.
We will have a tooltip next to the CQC rating, which should briefly explain what it is and how it works. Our experience from other social service sectors is that including the actual rating is very important.
I hope that answers your questions – if not, do let me know
thanks
Fiona
