CareBooking new developments
We have just released some improvements to CareBooking and have updated the look and feel.
Improved security
The login screen now gives users the option to confirm if they are working from a shared computer or not. If users are on a public/shared computer, then they will automatically be logged out after 20 minutes of inactivity, to ensure greater levels of security.
New look and feel
The main calendar view looks slightly different. The colour legend should now be clearer for users to see which beds are booked and which are available. The left hand menu has also been improved, so users no longer need to scroll down to see all the options.
In addition, we are now able to offer new functionality. Care Booking can now cater for two new placement types:
- Permanent
- Adult Placement
Subscribers to CareBooking now have the option to include either or both of these placement types. This will enable users to book contracted permanent beds and/or adult placements, enabling users to do everything through one system. As with CareBooking for respite beds, the entire booking process is automated, so all parties are informed directly when placements are booked, saving valuable time. In addition, clients can now be automatically contacted directly to confirm any bookings made on their behalf. Reporting is also available for these new placement types.
These new placement types can be specified at client, home and bed level.
At client level, the choice is either respite or permanent:
